First edition of the Neural Wave hackathon

From October 25th-27th, 2024, the first Neural Wave hackathon, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence (AI), will be held at the East Campus of the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), in Lugano. Registration for the event is now officially open.

This event will bring together brilliant minds from around Switzerland and the world to collaborate, compete, and create groundbreaking AI solutions within real-world problems, providing them with a platform to apply their skills in AI, machine learning, and data science.

Thanks to committed sponsors such as Bosch, Swisscom, and CSCS, who are at the forefront of AI innovation, there will be representatives who will not only serve as mentors throughout the event, but will also offer students invaluable insights into the latest industry trends and technologies. These partnerships also open doors for participants to showcase their talents directly to industry leaders, potentially leading to internship and job opportunities.

With a prize pool of up to 5000.- CHF in monetary value, winning teams will receive prizes and have their projects showcased to an international audience, gaining recognition from top firms.
